1. A fabulous cruise across the Chesapeake Bay
on board the Chesapeake Breeze. Powered by 3 12V71
series Detroit diesels and just under 100 feet long,
this aluminum ship transports passengers in safety
and style. A top deck provides open-air viewing, an
enclosed main cabin is also available. Snack bar
makes coffee, sodas and snacks available underway.
at the Fisherman's Corner Restaurant. While there
are several restaurants on Tangier Island, no other
has had its crab cake recipe featured in Southern
Living. Fisherman's Corner will be where we will
have lunch upon our arrival on the island.
Program at the Tangier Museum after lunch. Debra
Howard, Museum Director, will present Tangier in the
1600s, and give a talk on the early days of the
island. We will have a brief meeting at the Museum
before heading back to the Chesapeake Breeze for our

1. Make your own
reservation by phone or online for the Chesapeake Breeze (adults - $27 round
trip). Call 804-453-2628 now and charge your boat reservations. You may also
make your reservations online through the

Buzzard's Point Marina at 9:30 AM on July 19 for the
10:00AM departure. Boat returns at 4:00PM.
